NO SPAM
Today, I’m reading my emails and the 50% are spam.
Spam, the not wanted email, is very common today. Everybody, who sends and receives emails has received some spam. This is similar when we get the mail of our mailbox at home and we find a lot of publicity.
The most of us don't like to receive publicity not wanted in our mailbox. It is as if they were invading our intimacy. We are already invaded enough with television and the radio.
How are they getting our email address?
In some case, we visit web page where we have to authenticate with our email address. This is utilized for later to be able to classify us according to our likes as a result of the page that we have visited. So, we have to take care when we give our email address.
On the other hand, they can get our email address through chains of emails.
I’m sure that everybody has received some emails like this:
“Ella tiene 14 meses de edad y tiene toda la cara y el cuerpo quemado dado a la altas temperaturas. Ella no tiene la mitad de su cara. Esta en el hospital Cracow- en
Polonia, con el cuidado de uno de los mejores especialistas del hospital. Sin embargo ella todavía tiene que pasar por muchas cirugías y rehabilitación Desafortunadamente sus padres no tienen más dinero.
Por lo tanto estamos pidiendo su ayuda.
Para cada email remitido sus padres conseguirán 3centavos. Ayúdeles por favor y remíte este email a tanta gente como usted puede, a sus contactos de hotmail o yahoo
Es un mensaje cortesìa de Revista Virtual por la hermandad y humanidad”
I don’t want to translate it. It is exactly as I have received it.
These emails are uses by companies which gather email address and then they send spam.
These are companies without scruples which use some thing to get to create a chain of emails taking advantage of good people.
Therefore, you don’t fall in the trap. Nobody will give a cent for each email that is sent. They want to get a lot of email address to do a good database.
Be careful with your emails !!!

the spam, as you say in your post, is very annoying, and it invades our private lifes.
But not only is the spam, but junk mail, very massive advertisements, advertising phone calls...
We should have take care of our personal details, for example, a common way cell phone companies get our personal details is giving people a small amount for sending their personal data written down in a card. Or, for example, sending our personal details so that we can participate in a competition.
If we take a little bit of care, we could avoid so many advertising agressive campaigns.

You're not the only one who is tired about spam.I'm also tired of stupid chains. Specially of one about that they're closing down messenger and unless you send the mail to 10 people, you'll have to pay. I don't know how a single person can believe in that thing.
The spamming at the forums is also very annoying.
But the problem of spam is that makes me feel more angry are the pop-ups while you're surfing the web. Luckily the Firefox blocks most of them.
